hey guys!
darn, i missed the dinner that made haojie feel so much for the comm. sighs wad a waste.. but then again, i feel that all the time we have spent together has just made me really proud to be part of swoc 0708. not because we hold such prestige in hall, not because we get to earn a lot of points, not because we get to wear that black shirt with the ugly black shorts.. but really, its because of all the friendships that we have made throughout our term.
its so coincidental how all 12 of us managed to come together as a comm even though we din noe each other that well beforehand. some of us din even noe most of the comm pple existed at all before that! but as time passed, all the crazy things we do together, the things we say to each other, the food we share together and basically the time we spend together just brought us so much closer.
i'll never forget the uncertainty and anxiety we once felt during our eogm, how we all were hoping n praying tt it wld be over asap.. the mad rush during vday, with us all trying to wrap flowers quickly and nicely.. our countless number of preparations for ex-swoc treat, with our darling security guard who has no idea y we cant shout there.. all the birthday celebrations that we had for one another, each one being more dua-zhong than the previous one.. the super duper long meetings that we have coz we always end up digressing, but of course we enjoyed them (: .. the trips to ginza/harbourfront/clementi/seah imm for our meals, first by public transport, then by shix's van.. our dreams that we shared with each other, and how we thought of helping each other live our dreams.. the drinking party that got so many of us high and our first ever sharing session.. making the lips of an angel mtv in our library.. our circle-of-trusts everywhere possible.. fouling each other just for fun.. sorting and counting coins in the middle of the night, then gg for breakfast together.. our mass dance and high-school musical dance..
of course, there were also the camps that we went for tgt - secc trial camp, secc, and swoc trial camp, where we were the most zi-high group ever, doing lotsa crazy things, doing lotsa cheers, making lotsa noise but nevertheless having even more fun! (:
really, somehow i've realised how much all these mean more to me than the actual orientation itself. it was cool to have planned the whole orientation the way we had wanted and i dare say that things went quite smoothly but the orientation was just a part of the whole journey that we have gone through together. i mean, how often do u get such a close-knit grp of frens frm working tgt in a committee? haha.
just wanna say thanks to all u guys for all these wonderful memories. these r things tt i'll treasure with my life. wahhaas. hopefully they wun just be memories! heh. think we'll all be busy with our studies (we all better!) and future commitments (*winks*) but lets all still try to keep these friendships going alrights =)
