a super funny dream part 1
hey guys! great job at the cheering session today =) sorry i wasnt able to help cheer much just now coz of the filming but dun worry! when im free of the camera i'll cheer more too! :D
hehe. anw i had the funniest and weirdest dream just now.
5 pple, A, B, C, D1 and D2 were in A's car. they wanted to go for dinner at this quite-famous western food stall in ang mo kio. upon reaching there, they realised that NONE of them knew where exactly the place was. so they just followed A and walked blindly, wondering where they were going to. then C suddenly thought of a brilliant idea of calling her father, because he knew where that place was. so yay, everyone thought that they could finally settle down to a nice dinner after starving for some time.
alas! (okay, some background info here. the stall has this system in which pple have to queue up to order their food. and since its so famous, almost all the pple eating there come specially for the western food. so as expected, the queue was very long) after getting to the front of the queue and taking their orders, the guy at the counter dropped a bombshell to the heroes in our story - they have to wait for between an hour to an hour and 15 mins. most of them had to rush off for an appointment so they decided not to wait and to go somewhere else instead.
while thinking of an alternative to satisfy their empty stomachs, someone came up with a brilliant idea of going to McDonald's. the added comment about going to the NEW drive-thru macs was just so tempting and made everyone so excited about it, they all decided to go! forget about the western food, having a drive-thru in the heartlands was just so cool!
so anyway, A drove into the drive-thru area. but, even before anything, he drove into the exit lane of the car park! so there was no choice but to make a 3-point turn out from the car park and into the correct drive-thru lane. and that was when all the excitement started!
since it was so difficult to decide who should make the orders, our heroes decided to make a choice by luck. whoever ended up nearer to the intercom would make the order. A, being the good driver, almost overshot the intercom thing and hence D1, who was sitting directly behind A, ended up being the one making the orders. and here the conversation goes..
D1: HELLO! (sounded like she was shouting to the intercom)
voice at the intercom: hi! welcome to MacDonald's! may i take ur orders?
(B: i want a big mac meal)
D1: erm, one big mac meal
voice: one big mac meal
(B: and change the drink to iced milo)
D1: and change the drink to iced milo
(to the rest: what else do u all want??)
(C: i want a fillet o fish meal)
D2 to D1: one fillet o fish meal
D1: and one fillet o fish meal
(C: and change the drink to iced milo)
D2 to D1: and change the drink to iced milo
D1: and change the drink to iced milo
(A: i want a big mac meal, change the drink to strawberry milkshake)
D1: and one more big mac meal
voice: one more big mac meal
D1 (starts laughing): and change the drink to strawberry milkshake
voice: (inaudible, coz everyone starts laughing. but they werent laughing coz of the order. its the way D1 was ordering..)
D2: i want a fillet o fish meal
D1: one more fillet o fish meal. and can i have a sprite?
voice: one more fillet o fish meal, and change the drink to sprite?
everyone laughs again. actually by this time no one can stop laughing. even the person at the intercom. she sounded super amused at the way our heroes were ordering their meals. in fact, it seems like even her colleague wanted to get involved in it coz his voice could be heard. he took over for awhile before convulsing in laughter and the girl who had been taking the orders down resumed her duty of, well, taking orders.
by now, everyone's super amused by everything that everyone does. anyway, just to be safe, they asked for a repeat of the orders.
the voice: one big mac meal, change drink to iced milo, one fillet o fish meal, also change drink to iced milo. another big mac meal, change drink to fresh milk (!!!), another fillet o fish meal, change drink to sprite. correct?
everyone laughing n talking at the same time: nono, no fresh milk, strawberry milkshake! (no one cld even say "strawberry milkshake" properly! in fact, the strawberry milkshake thing took so long for the poor girl to hear)
eventually...
voice at the intercom: aiyah, y not u all just drive through all the way to the counter so that we can confirm ur order.
HAHAHAHA
so, our 5 heroes, still safely in the car but laughing till they had cramps, proceeded on to the counter in front, still super amused.
once they reached the counter, they found this girl laughing with her colleague. our 5 heroes, being the friendly pple they are, greeted them with a friendly HIII!!!! lol.
anyway, i realised my story's getting long.. heh.
after FINALLY confirming the orders and preparing to pay n stuff, A suddenly said, "i think i need to use the toilet. C, if there's a need u can drive the car out first." and without much ado, he just unbuckled his seatbelt, and LEFT THE CAR! everyone in the car was stunned!
lol. okay, that's the end of part one.. im tired! hahas. nitez pple!
